The Great Hail Storm that Ate My Garden

Filed under: Uncategorized — joansbooks @ 4:38 pm

Ooh, I had a beautiful garden. I had tomatoes on the vines, and flowers on my pepper plants. The zuchini and squash had brilliant yellow flowers. My mouth began to water at the thought of all that fresh produce. Then the hail came, ARGH! shredding every last tender plant. So now I’ll just plant a fall garden. West Texas weather and bugs can sure play havoc with a garden.

I still have a bumper crop of rosemary. Anybody need any?

Hello world!

Angel Gardens came into being from a desire for fresh herbs and produce, grown with the goodness of sunshine and water as Nature intended. During the growing season here in Texas, we grow a wide variety of produce in our large garden. During the winter months, we make great use of our greenhouse to nurture great tasting herbs, and small quantities of produce such as tomatoes, beans, and even zuchini.

We’d like to make these wonderfully fresh herbs and produce available to our friends and neighbors throughout the Big Bend area of Texas. Call in your order, and we’ll get it ready for you to pick up.

Call us at 432/364-2790. We’ll be happy to share the goodness of Nature with you. Just ask for Joan
